Do you accept walk ins or same day appointments?
We do not accept walks in as we are by appointment ONLY. We do tend to book out so it's best to schedule in advance but we do have cancellations and may be able to accept same day appointments.
Where is your studio located?
We are off of 6th and Quebec. The exact address will be given at the time of booking. We work out of our private home studio, so the appointment you reserve is just for you. Plenty of free street parking is available.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand things come up at last minute. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so within 12 hours of your appointment. Upon your second short-notice cancellation or no-show, you will be invoiced for a 50% deposit in order to book again. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
What is your late policy?
If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, you will be asked to reschedule or your service will be shortened to end at the time it was originally scheduled for. We will not be able to add on extra time to a late appointment as it is not fair to clients after you who show up on time.
What payments do you accept?
We accept Credit Card, Cash, PayPal or Venmo.
How should I prepare for my facial appointment?
Prior to your appointment, please discontinue any glycolics, salicylics, retinols or benzoyl peroxides 72 hours before your scheduled exfoliation service. We will not be able to service you if you've had any exfoliation services within the last 2 weeks.
For best results please arrive without makeup. However if you are short on time don't worry, we can remove it for you.
How should I prepare for my waxing appointment?
We suggest to lightly exfoliate the area to be waxed 24-48 hours before your appointment, but not the day of. If you are worried about the discomfort, we suggest taking ibuprofen an hour before your appointment.
The hair should be 1/4 to 1/2" (but not shorter or longer) to properly wax, or as long as a grain of rice. This insures the wax can properly adhere to the hair, but if it's too long it can be painful, so we recommend trimming before your appointment if the hair is over 1/2". Make sure it's at least 1/4" though!
Please note, we are unable to wax you if you have been on Accutane within the past year. Make sure you are off any Retin-A or retinoid products 1 week before your appointment and have not had a chemical peel or microdermabrasian within 2 weeks (for facial hair removal).
Certain medications and products can make the skin thinner. Consult with your doctor if you are unsure you are a good candidate.
It is fine to get waxed if you are pregnant, nursing, or on your menstrual cycle- but please note your skin may be more sensitive!.
How should I prepare for my lash appointment?
It is best to arrive to your appointment makeup free (especially mascara-free) and remove contact lenses before your service.
